Should meal times be a constant source of struggle for you and your child? Perhaps not. To ensure that your child enjoys his or her meals and eats well, excessive intake of beverages and drinks at mealtimes should be discouraged. This will reduce your toddler's desire for solid foods.
It would be good if you don't force your child to eat food when not hungry or food that he or she don't want. Avoid feeding your toddler with sweet and coated foods since it will be hard to change to other varieties at a later stage. Have some sessions of fun during meal times such as watching her favorite cartoon.
